Workflow & Approvals help to standardize internal procedures and automated business processes. Many assigned tasks, regular sent emails, and other record updates are part of an organization's standard processes. These tasks can be configured automatically through the Workflow & Approvals tool. The goal for this project was to rebuilt the Workflow & Approvals tools so that it would work across mobile, desktop and web platforms for Salesforce Administrators. This was a design lead project which I was involved from very early stage from research, early concepts, design flows, to prototypes.
PROBLEM
Salesforce has multiple tools for building workflow and approvals, but they are used only by advanced adminstrators. This project is designed specifically for any Salesforce administrators.

RESEARCH FINDINGS
From the user research findings, we saw administrators need a tool like Visio for creating flow diagrams to help with workflow and approval process.
SOLUTION
Based on the research findings and design principals, the key solutions were to use simplicity and easy of use to create the new designs. And using the visual indication on add, edit to create and update the process. Defining the visual map of the process to guide the user where they are in the process was another solution.
